We always install the best equipment for your particular home. We'll recommend various options for your individual situation, and be sure that you understand why.
 
Since energy efficiency is a big topic these days, we can give you options for equipment with various efficiency levels. You can spend more for higher efficiency equipment initially and save money in gas and electricity for as long as you own the equipment, or you can pay less for medium efficiency equipment, and pay more for the energy. We can help you to figure out what is the best choice for your situation.
 
Currently there are Federal Tax Credits and PG&E Energy Rebates available for high efficiency residential heating and cooling equipment. Listed below are the references.

Federal Tax Credit

Tax credits are available up to 30 percent of the cost of the project (up to a maximum of $1,500 in 2009 and 2010 for existing homes) for:
  • High efficiency central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps
  • High efficiency gas furnaces
  • High efficiency water heaters

PG&E Rebate

Models with electronic ignition systems have an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) of 92% or higher and can run up to 15% more efficiently than standard models. Not only that, you can get up to a $300 rebate on the purchase and installation of a qualified furnace.

Whole House Fan $100/unit
Variable Speed Motor(VSM) Air Handler System $50/unit
Whole House Fan:
A whole house fans pulls hot air from the living space into the attic while pulling cool air in from outside.
Variable Speed Motor(VSM) Air Handler System:
A VSM is a motor with more than one speed, which includes multiple speed motors or true variable speed motors.
